Trial Transcript: Mary and Wilbur Walsh, 1976

Mr. and Mrs. Walsh were an older couple who just happened to be driving by when Carol DaRonch jumped into their car to escape Ted Bundy. In all likelihood they inadvertently saved her life that night, as he could have easily caught up with her had they not been there. They testified for the prosecution in the kidnapping trial on Tuesday, February 24, 1976.

In it she is cross examined by attorney John O’Connell, who defended Ted Bundy. David Yocom was the Assistant Salt Lake County Attorney representing the State of Utah.

The examination is from the transcript of Case No. 28629 in the Third District Court of Salt Lake City, The State of Utah vs. Theodore Robert Bundy. John O’Connell represented Ted Bundy.
